Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake for Raspberry Days! It was so much fun. Even though I am 8 months pregnant. We enjoyed swimming, hiking, fishing, and (of course) fresh raspberry shakes!

The sand was black, which was surprising to us. Also, there were millions of seashells on the beach! It was crazy. We don't really know where they came from. Don't mind my super swollen feet. They are like huge marshmallows. Gross. Our amazing tent we were given for a wedding gift. First time we used it! We actually fit a queen-sized air mattress in the tent. It was super comfy! Not really much space though.
Here is Ryan being the man and building a fire. He singed probably half of his arm hair off during the course of the weekend. Poor kid.

Our yummy dutch oven breakfast.

We went fishing one night and Ryan was so excited to catch a really big fish. Sadly, he didn't catch anything. But we still had fun.

Ryan let me cast once, but I got the line caught on a rock. :( He didn't let me try again.

I read Harry Potter to Ryan while he was fishing.

I just thought this was a really cool picture.

We went hiking up to Bloomington Lake. It is a glacier-fed lake that is supposedly 180 feet deep out in the center. The water didn't feel super cold to me but that's probably because I am just so dang hot all the time now! It was beautiful and probably my favorite part of the trip.

Ryan picked me some wildflowers while we were hiking back down.

Isn't he cute?

Soaking the swollen feet.
We stopped at a scenic lookout point on the drive back to Logan. A nice man offered to take our picture, but I guess he didn't push the button down far enough because we only had this one that I took of us. We had a really fun trip and I am so glad we went!
